3/1/25 FULL Beginners Workshop

10am ,5-6hrs long. All supplies and glass for the class is covered.
 
This is a more in depth beginners class you can choose soft glass beads or hard glss boro pendants. Dont forget your pen and paper to take notes. What you will learn is Safety, Ventilation, Torch setup, Glass COE and type, Basic tools and cleaning. We will learn torch terms and  lighting the torch. If you choose soft glass beads you will hands on learn basic beads and shapes, pulling stringers, applying stringers, making and applying frit, making and applying basic dots,  and bead fixes, and making lots of beads and having fun. Each student will make approximately 10 or more beads.
 
If you choose the hard glass boro Pendants you will learn hands on the 3 stages of heat . We will learn cold seals and hot seals, how to pull stringer, how to gather glass. how to make the loop for your pendant. For color you can choose to make a color choas pendant or an implosion with dots from your stringer. You will then make a flat disc and change the orentation of the handle and apply the loop. If you choose hard glass boro pendants you will make 1 color pendant
 
For parties with 2-5 please select the same item to make for a more sociability experience. If you want to make differnt items each please contact me so we can work out the detail and timeframe  Oh yeah! you get to play with fire too. The class will last approximately 5-6hrs or longer. Ages 13 and up
